The Presto Ride standard of superior customer service:

Verification by Presto Ride of commercial vehicle insurance, with liability coverage for any passenger carried in my vehicle, in accordance with law;

Presto Ride operator compliance with all other state and local regulation;

Presto Ride operator commitment to safe operation of the Presto Ride vehicle, and security for Presto Ride public passengers;

Presto Ride operators have criminal background checks;

Presto Ride operators treat all passengers with courtesy and respect, without regard to race, religion, national origin, sex or sexual preference, and will affirmatively assist any passenger with a disability;

As professionals, Presto Ride operators will assist passengers to their destination by driving the safest, shortest route available, and in payment, through the Presto Ride App, will accept all major credit cards, and will not discriminate against passengers due to the length of their trip or distance travelled;

Presto Ride sets, as its recommended fare, a rate typical of US cities. If necessary to operate in accordance with local rule or regulation, the Presto Ride operator may override the Presto Ride recommended fare and input any fare set by the local jurisdiction in which I operate. If this is the case, you will see the locally set fare posted on the vehicle taximeter or other, similar device. Presto Ride does not engage in "surge pricing" to take advantage of short term high demand for services;

Presto Ride may reverse any fare which is in excess of the Presto Ride recommended fare or that set by my local regulatory authorities;

Presto Ride doesn't suspend its affiliated operators due to rating, and treats them, as professionals, with courtesy and respect, without regard to race, religion, national origin, sex or sexual preference, and shares their goal, of serving the travelling public well, to the best of our abilities.

I agree to receive phone calls and text messages regarding my account and my bookings. Standard message and data rates may apply.

By registering with Presto Ride, I agree that I am a fully-licensed independent operator of a for-hire vehicle with commercial insurance, and that I will operate my vehicle in accordance with the Presto Ride standard of superior customer service.

Specifically, I agree that the Presto Ride standard includes: 1) my consent to real time verification by Presto Ride of my commercial vehicle insurance, with liability coverage for any passenger carried in my vehicle, in accordance with law; 2) my compliance with all other state and local regulations; and, 3) my commitment to safe operation of my vehicle, and security for my public passengers. If, as a condition of local licensing, I am not required to obtain a criminal background check through a law enforcement agency to operate a motor vehicle for compensation, I agree to do so.

I agree to treat all passengers with courtesy and respect, without regard to race, religion, national origin, sex or sexual preference, and will affirmatively assist any passenger with a disability. As a professional vehicle operator, I will assist passengers to their destination by driving the safest, shortest route available, and in payment, I will through the Presto Ride App, accept all major credit cards, and will not discriminate against passengers due to the length of their trip or distance travelled.

I consent to withholding by Presto Ride of 10% of the gross passenger fare, through the Presto Ride App, which includes my cost of credit card processing. Presto Ride shall withhold no other fees, and shall report my gross revenue annually on an IRS form 1099. My relationship with Presto Ride is that of an independent business person, who purchases referral services from and through Presto Ride; I am not an agent or an employee of Presto Ride. I represent that I have registered with, and filed all tax filings, as appropriate with all local, state and federal governments.

Presto Ride sets, as its recommended fare, rates typical of US cities. I may, if necessary to operate in accordance with local rule or regulation, override the Presto Ride recommended fare and input any fare set by the local jurisdiction in which I operate. Neither I nor Presto Ride shall engage in "surge pricing" to take advantage of short term high demand for services. I consent to verification and review of fare, by Presto Ride which shall have authority without limit to reverse any fare which is in excess of the Presto Ride recommended fare or that set by my local regulatory authorities. Likewise, Presto Ride shall not lower or discount fares without my expression permission.

Although Presto Ride reserves the right to suspend operation of my vehicle through the Presto Ride App, Presto Ride shall not do so without cause. Presto Ride does not suspend its affiliated operators due to rating, and agrees to treat me, as a professional, with courtesy and respect, without regard to race, religion, national origin, sex or sexual preference, and shares my goal, of serving the traveling public well, to the best of my ability.

I agree to receive text messages and phone calls related to my account and my rides. Standard message and data rates may apply to all SMS messages.

Communications

We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials, and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send or by contacting us.

Text Messages

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We will disclose your Personal Information where required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of our Service.
